For us at I-Do, this wedding holds a special place in our hearts cause of the fun and glamorous bride and groom, Shilpa and Rishabh. We love such brides who value even the little details cause this motivates us further to give her the dream wedding she deserves. Though she was from San Francisco she still was able to co-ordinate the entire wedding, through late night chats, which reflects in the beautiful pictures at this traditional mandappa in Bangalore.
It was 2 day event starting with Sangeet, then wedding in the morning followed by a reception. Since the venue was same and all the 3 functions were back to back we decided to keep a common color theme – fuschia pink and orange for the entire wedding. This was a challenge as sangeet and reception was supposed to be contemporary décor and daare(wedding) they wanted something traditional.
For the sangeet décor we had a Moroccan theme with bright colors, moroccan lanterns, moroccan patterns & lots of candles and diwan seating with cushions. We also had a fun corner for the Sangeet which was appreciated by all. A clothes line of the couple’s pictures was put up and guests were directed to write special messages for the lovely couple. The wedding was a traditional affair with marigold flowers with bells. For the reception we used lots of crystals and candles with the addition of purple shade to the existing colors.
Another memorable event for I-Do, and were proud to be a part of Shilpa and Rishabh’s special day.
